Kadavu | Suva | Lomaiviti Group | Sunshine Coast | Vanua Levu | Taveuni THINGS TO SEE AND DO The island of Kadavu (pronounced Kan-da-voo) lies only 88 kilometers south of Viti Levu. There are regular air/boat services from Suva. Remote and peaceful, Fijian villages, and excellent diving in the nearby Great Astrolabe Reef. Spectacular reefs, lush rainforests and rugged landscape make Kadavu an excellent choice for adventure travel. Kadavu is also becoming popular as a surfing destination. For those interested in birdwatching, watch for the bright Kadavu Parrot, which can be easily observed in its natural habitat.
